Another remix for my one and only love – It`s been 7 long years since I first met her and she always told me Poovukkul is her favourite song (besides the fact that Jeans still her number 1 favourite movie). I’ve been missing for a long time … yes a long time, but here I am releasing a track at the end of 2011.

Everyone knows the craze for Why This Kolaveri and the impact it created world wide – well this is another awesome song from the same movie 3 (Moonu). The Come On Girls track is very chill and “gangsta” like. Since Anirudh did a great job dropping a reggae-like tune, I thought I would add my flavour and add some Hip Hop to make it something I call a Drunk Crunk Remix.

This remix here came to be when I first listened to the GOA song at its release and felt an urge to make a remix to it. As I studied the basic beat drop – I realized it had a similar beat drop to “Black Eyed Peas – Boom Boom Pow.” From there on I started constructing this remix and realized another hit from Yuvan Shankar Raja was required to complete this remix. That is when I gave Where Is The Party from Silambattam a shot – even though it required massive tweaking to get the two songs to flow – it ended up being one of my a great duos.

After watching the movie GOA, I realized the remix was destined to be mixed with Boom Boom Pow as the  movie itself featured the Black Eyed Peas hit single in a club scene.

Many of you wonder how I come across my ways to make remixes such as this one and to be honest the statement: “Behind every successful man, there is a woman” – is very true in my case. I am very inspired by my love and I am able to express it through my music. I dedicate this song to my Pribzju (nickname) for our anniversary on Nov 28, 2009. “I would like to thank you Pribzju for everything you have done for me and hope you like this remix dedicated to you “

This remix came to be when I realized both of us really liked the song, Unn Peru Sollum and it would make a beautiful gift to her if I added my “icekee touch” to it. I felt the rhythm match with Yuvan’s Yogi Violen Theme and added an eletric stir to hype up the remix. The drum and bass beat drop was produced by me to add an original feel to the remix.

Oru Devathai is one of Yuvan Shankar Raja’s greatest master pieces and I wanted to give this song a Timbaland feeling but still preserve the original rhythm. So I chose Timbaland’s – Apologize  as the main  background beat and added a custom beat drop to Birthday Sex to customize the feeling of Apologize and Oru Devathai. This remix was made for DJ Hecktic’s first album as a bonus track and now net released for those who didn’t get the chance to purchase the album.
